Tia Lloyd, J.D., SHRM-CP has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and administrative services. Currently, they are serving as the Executive Director of Human Resources and Administrative Services at Edward Waters University. Prior to this, Tia worked as the Assistant Director of Human Resources at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Tia also held various roles at the University of Central Florida, including Senior Employee Relations Specialist and Human Resources Coordinator. In addition, Tia worked as a Recruitment Coordinator at the Florida Department of Corrections and held multiple positions at the Florida Department of Children and Families - Human Resources, including Civil Rights Intake Officer, Payroll Technician II, and Secretary Specialist. Through their various roles, Tia has developed a strong background in human resources management, employee relations, and administrative services.
Tia Lloyd, J.D., SHRM-CP, received their education from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. In 2009, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government. Tia then pursued a Masters of Science degree in Public Administration from 2010 to 2011. Tia furthered their education at the same institution, earning a Juris Doctorate in Law from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, they obtained various certifications, including the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) in 2019. Tia also holds several LinkedIn certifications in topics such as leadership, crisis management, and creating a positive work environment. Most recently, they obtained an "Inclusive and Ethical Leadership Certificate" from the University of South Florida in 2022.
