Ana Almonte is a seasoned manufacturing professional with extensive experience in leadership and operations management. Currently serving as MFG Director at Edwards Lifesciences since April 2013, Ana oversees a workforce of over 1,300 employees across three production shifts, focusing on manufacturing, training, and process engineering. Previously, Ana held managerial roles at Carefusion and Hospira, where responsibilities included managing multiple assembly and packaging work centers, developing strategies for Master Production Schedules, and ensuring compliance with quality regulations. Ana's educational background includes an Executive Development Program from Barna Business School, a Master's degree in Management and Productivity from Universidad APEC, and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo.
