Neal Uren

Neal Uren is a highly experienced interventional cardiologist currently serving as Professor of Interventional Cardiology at Edinburgh Heart Centre and Vice President of PEMA, TMTT Europe at Edwards Lifesciences. Uren's career includes significant roles such as Consultant Cardiologist at Edinburgh Heart Centre from 1997 to 2021 and Clinical Director of Cardiac Services at the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh from 2011 to 2017. Uren's extensive training background includes a Senior Registrar in Cardiology at Glenfield Hospital, a BHF International Fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center, and foundational training as a Cardiology Registrar at Hammersmith Hospital. Uren holds an MB ChB MD(Hons) in Medicine from The University of Edinburgh and completed secondary education at Balwearie High School.
