Sam Chikermane-Johnson

Sam Chikermane-Johnson is an experienced professional in health economics and reimbursement, currently serving as Senior Manager, Global Health Economics and Reimbursement at Edwards Lifesciences since August 2021. Previously, Sam held various positions, including Manager in the same department and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Houston, where significant roles included serving as ISPOR University of Houston Chapter President. Additional experience includes internships at Novartis and Gilead Sciences, contributions to ISPOR as a Meeting Planning Committee Member, and a statistical consultancy at Houston Methodist. Academically, Sam holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Health Outcomes and Policy from the University of Houston, a Master's in Health Outcomes Research from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and a Bachelor's in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Mumbai Educational Trust.
