John Gibson

John Gibson is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with over 25 years of experience in IT software and consulting. As the Founder and CEO of Prometheus Cybersecurity since June 2020, John leads a team that specializes in cybersecurity governance and education. Additionally, John serves as a Cyber Security Instructor at edX, teaching comprehensive courses on various cybersecurity topics. Previous roles include Senior Sales Engineer at Delinea, Senior Systems Analyst at Sierra Nevada Corporation, and Technology Consultant at NexusTek, among others. John has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington and possesses a diverse skill set encompassing operating systems, cloud computing, security operations, and presentations.
