Paul Arias

Paul Arias is a seasoned data enthusiast and scientist with extensive experience in leveraging data-driven solutions across various roles. Currently serving as a Board Member for Domestic Violence Statute Matcher and as Founder and Principal Consultant at Resolute Data Science LLC, Paul has demonstrated a strong commitment to innovation and strategic thinking. As a Senior Scientist at Rutgers University, Paul has provided essential support to researchers and institutions, while also sharing knowledge as an Instructor of Data Science at edX. Previous positions include Associate Research Scientist at Rutgers Discovery Informatics Institute, Assistant Research Scientist at the University of Michigan, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and the University of Michigan. Paul holds a PhD and multiple master's degrees, all from the University of Michigan, in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics.
