Richard Wanjohi

Richard Wanjohi, Ph.D., is a seasoned data scientist and educator with extensive experience in building predictive models and employing statistical techniques to drive business growth and efficiency. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Ascend Learning and a Lead Instructor for Data Science & Analytics at edX, Richard previously held senior data science roles at H&R Block and ECCO Select. Richard's academic tenure includes positions as a Lead Instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an Adjunct Professor at Rockhurst University. Additionally, Richard contributed to the American Statistical Association's Survey Review Committee and has a strong background in leveraging machine learning and deep learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data analytics in various industries. Richard holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Arkansas.
