EEA and Norway Grants
Through the EEA and Norway Grants, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway help reduce economic and social disparities in Europe and strengthen cooperation with 15 EU member states. The EEA and Norway Grants are linked to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA), making Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway partners in the internal market with the 27 EU member states. The EEA countries share common values and responsibility with other European countries to promote equality of opportunity, tolerance, security, environmental sustainability, and a decent living standard. Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein have allocated €2.8 billion 2014-2021 in the 2014-2021 funding period to fund projects that work towards a green, competitive and inclusive Europe.
