Lauro Felicisimo C. Matias

Lauro Felicisimo C. Matias is the Vice President of Information Technology at EEI Corporation.

Matias has over two decades of experience in the IT industry. Lauro started their career at Ciba Geigy as the Management Services Head in 1990. Lauro then moved to Kraft Foods in 1992, where they became the Region IT Manager for South and Southeast Asia. In 1999, they joined Lafarge Philippines as the Assistant Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In 2002, they were promoted to Vice President of IT Asia Pacific for Lafarge Boral Gypsum.

In 2008, Matias left Lafarge to join PT SMART Tbk as their Vice President and Chief IT Advisor. Lauro then took on the role of Vice President of Mobile Commerce and Commercial Command Center for PT. SMART TELECOM. In 2010, they returned to the Philippines to become the Chief Information Officer for Jollibee Foods Corporation, a position they held for five years.

In 2015, Matias joined Starbucks as their Chief Information Officer for RCOC. Lauro remained with Starbucks until 2017 when they returned to EEI Corporation, their current employer.

Their manager is Roberto Jose L. Castillo, President & CEO. They are on a team with Larry J. Ardina - AVP & General Manager, EEI Realty Corporation, Ferdinand O. Sia - SVP & CFO, and Oscar D. Mercado - SVP, Engineering & Marketing.
