Justin Monti has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Justin currently works as the Managing Director / VP of Security Engineering & Architecture at UltraViolet Cyber, leading a team of security engineers. Justin'srole involves integrating managed security services into customer environments, onboarding new customers, and managing customer security tools and operations. Justin also provides vulnerability management services to customers, including scanning and offering remediation advice.
Prior to their current role, Justin was a CTO at W@tchtower, where they advised CISO/CSO executives on security policy and programmatics. Justin assisted organizations in transitioning to a continuous monitoring mode of security operations and integrating risk management across various security initiatives.
Justin has also worked at RSA The Security Division of EMC as a Manager in the Federal Services Practice, where they were responsible for revenue and P&L in the US Federal space. Justin managed staffing, business development, pricing, and technical scoping of services engagements.
Before that, they were a Programs Manager for Professional Services at NetWitness, where they founded and managed the NetWitness University customer education program. Justin also provided technical oversight for large-scale deployments of the NetWitness NextGen network security monitoring solution.
Justin started their career as an Intern at Encore Computer Corporation and later worked as a Consultant at AMS, where they were involved in scoping and designing Oracle database servers and J2EE application servers for various deployments.
Throughout their career, Justin has demonstrated expertise in security engineering, architecture, continuous monitoring, risk management, and customer education.
Justin Monti attended The Wheeler School from 1989 to 1995, where they completed their high school education. Afterward, from 1995 to 1999, they attended Brown University and obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time at Brown University, they pursued studies in Computer Science and Business Economics.
