Stephan Kempen

Stephan Kempen has extensive experience in the yachting and marine control industries, currently serving as Business Unit Manager Yachting and Project Manager at Eekels Technology B.V. since October 2021. Previously, Stephan held the position of General Manager at Verhoef EMC and EMC Marine Control, where responsibilities included company strategy, budget oversight, and daily management across commercial, financial, technical, and HR domains. At Alewijnse Marine Systems, Stephan initiated the Drive and Control department and was instrumental in developing the first water-cooled DP propulsion drive. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen and additional coursework at Pon Academy/Ormit and the University of Groningen.
