Matthew Margot has worked in a number of roles in the energy industry since 2007. Matthew began their career as an Intern at Petroleum Development Consultants in 2007, followed by a role as a Chemical Engineer in 2009. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at the University of Reading as a Postgraduate Researcher. Matthew then moved to Anesco Ltd in 2016, where they held the roles of Asset Manager, Lead Performance Analyst and Performance Analyst. In 2020, they joined Gresham House plc as a Commercial Asset Manager, and in 2021 they moved to Eelpower as Head of Asset Management and Senior Asset Manager.
Matthew Margot completed their secondary education at Sutton Valence School between 1997 and 2004. Matthew then attended Imperial College London where they earned an MEng in Chemical Engineering from 2004 to 2008. In 2011, they completed an MSc in Renewable Energy: Technology and Sustainability at the University of Reading.
