Eero Janson

Eero Janson is a seasoned professional in humanitarian action and refugee support, currently serving as the Director of Eesti Pagulasabi / Estonian Refugee Council since March 2013. Janson has held various significant roles, including Board Member at the European Council on Refugees and Exiles from November 2018 to December 2021 and Evaluation Expert for the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a short-term contract in early 2021. Additionally, Janson worked as a Consultant for UNHCR from March 2015 to December 2017 and served as the Head of Development at Deep Systems from May 2005 to May 2015. Janson holds a Master of Arts in International Humanitarian Action from the NOHA Programme and a Master of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Tartu, with further studies at the University of Toronto.
