Catalin Gavan

Catalin Gavan has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Catalin is currently working at EF Education First as a Technical Lead Engineer, where they are responsible for refactoring and rewriting legacy applications on a new technology stack. Catalin also automates code and infrastructure deployments using CI/CD GitHub actions. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at additiv, where they were involved in the development of the additiv DFS product, integrating Azure cloud services and engaging in full-stack development. Catalin also founded KissLog.net, a web-based logging and monitoring solution for .NET applications. Catalin started their career at Simpology Australia as a Junior Software Developer and eventually became a Senior Software Developer, contributing to various software applications developed within the company.

Catalin Gavan obtained a Bachelor's Degree in the Faculty of Informatics and Applied Mathematics at the Romanian-American University in Bucharest, from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at the National College "Ion Creanga" in Bucharest, specializing in Mathematics and Computer Science from 2004 to 2008.
