Ernie Pomerantz has more than 50 years of experience investing in both public and private companies in a broad range of industries and has served as a board member of more than forty companies. He spent nine years at Kuhn, Loeb & Co and twenty-two years at Warburg Pincus where he was an investment banker, analyst, portfolio manager and private equity investor. Following his twenty-two years at Warburg Pincus, he was a partner at MESA Partners and then Chairman of StoneWater Capital LLC until its acquisition. In addition to eFamilyCare, Ernie served on the boards of HelpCare Inc. (acquired by HealthEquity Inc.,) PingMD Inc., and MedicaMetrix, Inc. in the healthcare industry. His investments and directorships have been focused on early-stage companies. Ernie served as a Lieutenant in The United States Navy from 1964 to 1969. He received a B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on a Navy ROTC Scholarship, an MA from USC/London.
