Tom Kuslikis

Tom Kuslikis, CPA, has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and auditing. Tom began their career at the Office of Commission Audits, where they held various roles such as Senior Auditor, Auditing Specialist, and Staff Auditor. In these positions, they conducted audits, reviewed contract compliance, and applied federal regulations. In 2013, Tom joined the University of Michigan Credit Union as the Vice President of Internal Audit and Compliance, responsible for ensuring adherence to auditing standards and policies. In 2014, they were promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the financial operations of the credit union. Currently, Tom serves as the Chief Executive Officer at EFCU Financial, a position they have held since 2023.

Tom Kuslikis, CPA completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Michigan in 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a dual degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids between 2000 and 2005.

In addition to their educational background, Tom has obtained several certifications. In 2009, they became a Certified Public Accountant through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Tom then obtained a Certified Internal Auditor certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2011. In 2014, they obtained the Chartered Global Management Accountant certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Lastly, in 2018, they attained the SOC for Cybersecurity certification from the AICPA.
