Svet Penkov

Svet Penkov has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 as a PhD Student at The University of Edinburgh. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at FiveAI as a Research Scientist and Motion Prediction Team Lead. In 2019, they founded Sciro Research and also became the Chairman of the Managing Board at AI Cluster Bulgaria. Most recently, in 2021, they co-founded Efemarai and serves as the CEO.

Svet Penkov earned their Master's Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from The University of Reading. Svet then pursued a Master's Degree in Neuroinformatics and Computational Neuroscience at The University of Edinburgh from 2013 to 2014. Following their master's degree, Svet went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at The University of Edinburgh from 2014 to 2018.
