Catherine Vasquez Calmell

Catherine Vasquez Calmell serves as the National Director of Recruitment at EF High School Exchange Year, where oversight includes recruitment and communications teams and mentoring sales managers to exceed sales goals. Previously, Catherine held roles such as Manager of Host Family Recruitment, achieving over a 25% annual increase in student placements, and Regional Placement Manager, managing a team of over 60 coordinators in the Midwest. Prior to EF, Catherine was the Director of Business Development and Director of Recruitment at Hult International Business School, focusing on recruiting qualified students from Latin America. Earlier experience includes Project Designer at Arclinea - Boston, where project management and client engagement were key responsibilities. Catherine holds a Master's degree in Interior Design from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Universidad Iberoamericana, and completed the Business Fundamentals Course at Harvard Extension School, among other certifications in inbound marketing.
