Ellen Heartlein has extensive experience in program operations and support within the education sector. Currently serving as the Program Operations & Finance Coordinator, Program Advisor, IEC Onboarding Manager, and Director of Program Support at EF High School Exchange Year since August 2017, Ellen has developed a strong skill set in managing programs and financial aspects. Prior to this role, Ellen worked as a Traveler Support Specialist at EF Educational Tours from September 2015 to August 2017, and as an English Teaching Assistant with Fulbright Germany from September 2014 to June 2015. Educationally, Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in History and German Studies from Connecticut College, where involvement included positions such as German Tutor and Business Manager at Coffee Grounds. Ellen's early experience also includes an internship at Institut für Zeitgeschichte.
