Paul Harrison has a lengthy work experience in various roles and industries. Paul started their career in 1983 as a Section Leader at GEC Marconi. Paul then moved on to BNR Europe as a Pilot Production Manager from 1989 to 1997. Following this, they worked as a Production Manager at Bookham, formerly known as Nortel Networks, for almost a decade. From 2006 to 2008, they served as a Centre Manager at XAT and later took on the role of Operations Leader at BFF for a year. In 2009, they became the Locality Manager at Pluss, where they had operational responsibility for various departments. In 2011, they joined UTC Aerospace Systems as a Production Manager, responsible for strategic planning, delivery of products, and improvement programs. From 2014 to 2015, they were the Production Manager at Algram, focusing on cost, quality, and delivery of manufacturing operations. Paul briefly worked at Sub10 Systems Ltd. in a logistics and supply chain role before joining EFFECT Photonics in 2015 as the Senior Operations Manager, where they led the design and development of optical components.
Paul Harrison attended Loughborough University from 1979 to 1983, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Plymouth from 2004 to 2006, obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies.
