Thijs Peeters

Thijs Peeters has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Thijs is currently working at EFFECT Photonics as a Product Business Manager, starting in November 2020. Prior to this, from January 2019 to November 2020, they worked at Canon Production Printing as a Senior Strategy Consultant in the President's Office. In this role, they provided corporate strategy consulting to board members and had expertise in areas such as M&A, strategy development, restructuring, and new business development. Before joining Canon, Thijs worked as an Assistant Professor at the Innovation, Technology Entrepreneurship & Marketing group at Eindhoven University of Technology from September 2012 to July 2017. During this time, they conducted independent research on business models and innovation strategy. Additionally, they were a Visiting Scholar at Copenhagen Business School from February 2016 to April 2016, where they researched the performance effects of R&D outsourcing in an international team. Thijs also gained experience as a Ph.D. candidate at Tilburg University from October 2008 to August 2012, focused on the performance effects of using externally developed technologies in new product development. Prior to their Ph.D., they worked as a Research Assistant at Tilburg University from September 2006 to August 2008.

Following this, from 2000 to 2006, they attended Tilburg University for their Drs/MSc degree in Business Administration.
