Joaquin Lorenzo de Guzman

Joaquin Lorenzo De Guzman is currently an Associate Member at the Institute of Physics since March 2022 and an Intern at the NIP Theoretical Physics Group, focusing on High-Energy and Nuclear Physics, since September 2021. As a member of Effective Altruism Philippines and an Internals Committee Member at Agham Youth UP Diliman, participation in these organizations reflects a commitment to community and academic engagement. Previous roles include Vice President for Learning Experience at Effective Altruism UP Diliman and Vice President of Membership and Internal Affairs at the University of the Philippines Philosophical Society. Joaquin has also worked as an Academic Tutor at Catholic Filipino Academy and completed an internship at DOST-PAGASA. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics at the University of the Philippines Diliman, education also includes a prior program in Computer Science and a High School Diploma with High Honors from Philippine Science High School.
