Shannon Jean is a licensed professional counselor and board-certified dance/movement therapist with extensive experience in providing psychotherapeutic creative arts and verbal therapy. Currently serving as Regional Director, Coordinator, and Clinician at Effective School Solutions since November 2016, Shannon specializes in addressing the mental health, emotional, and behavioral needs of middle school students through group and individual sessions. As the owner of Iona Inspirations, LLC since February 2021, additional expertise includes previous roles as a Dance/Movement Therapist at Carrier Clinic and as a Creative Arts Therapist at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, carrying out therapeutic interventions for adolescents and adults in various settings. Shannon's educational background includes a Master's degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Columbia College Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a Dance Minor from Tufts University.
