Karin Vermeulen

Karin Vermeulen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Karin began their career in 2012 as a Marketing Intern at Select Marketing. In 2014, they joined ING as a Marketing Communications Intern and later became a Junior Marketing Communications Coordinator.

In 2015, Karin worked as an F&B Attendant at Hilton Worldwide, followed by a role as an Online Marketeer at Grwo from 2016 to 2017. Karin then joined NH Hotel Group as a Group Sales Executive, where they were responsible for handling business group requests and managing sales for all 12 NH Hotels in Amsterdam.

In 2018, Karin worked as a Meeting & Event Organizer at NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky before transitioning to Virtuagym in 2019. At Virtuagym, they initially served as a Key Account Manager, where they managed relationships with large Gym chains and Corporate Health clients, acted as a liaison between Product Development and clients, and provided system usage advice and issue resolution.

Karin also served as a Confidential Counsellor at Virtuagym, and later took on the role of Interim Team Lead, managing a team of two people located in Medellin and assisting the Global Head of Key Accounts in Amsterdam.

Most recently, Karin joined Effectory in 2023 as a Customer Success Manager.

Karin Vermeulen's educational journey began in 2005 when they attended D.S. Pierson College, where they pursued a high school diploma with a focus on economics and society. Karin successfully completed their high school education in 2010.

Following their graduation from high school, Karin enrolled at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in 2010. Karin embarked on a five-year program, majoring in International Business and Management Studies. During their time at Fontys University, Karin also pursued a minor in Applied Psychology from 2011 to 2012.

After graduating from Fontys University in 2015 with a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Management Studies, Karin furthered their education in 2023. Karin attended YEARTH Academy, where they engaged in a project management program.
