Simon Rutter

Simon Rutter is an accomplished procurement and supply chain professional with extensive experience across multiple sectors. Currently serving as Principal at Efficio since April 2021, Simon previously held significant leadership roles at Babcock International Group from 2015 to 2020, including Procurement and Supply Chain Director for the Marine Sector and Director of Procurement and Supply Chain for the Land Sector. At Thames Water, Simon led the Procurement function for the UK's largest water utility from 2007 to 2014. Additional experience includes heading UK Procurement at Cemex, serving as Global Sourcing Manager at Lafarge, and various purchasing management roles at Punch Taverns and Marshall Aerospace. Early career experience includes a strategic procurement manager position at E.ON UK. Simon holds an MCIPS from The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply and a BA Hons in Economics and German from Keele University.
