John Jairo Acevedo Nanclares is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Effy Healthcare and Effy Business since 2017 and 2021 respectively, John is also an entrepreneur focusing on health interoperability platforms that enhance user health management. Previously, John held the position of Chief Information Officer at José de Mello Saúde for 14 years, where four major strategic planning projects for information systems were completed. John’s career began as Chief Information Officer at Central de Cervejas e Bebidas from 1994 to 2002. Educational qualifications include an engineer's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad de Antioquia, as well as studies at INSEAD and Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
