Kareem Hassan

Kareem Hassan, CAMS, is an experienced compliance professional with a strong background in financial crime compliance, particularly in anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, and counter-terrorist financing (CTF). Currently serving as the MLRO and Senior Compliance Officer at EFG Hermes since December 2021, Kareem previously held various roles at HSBC from August 2015 to December 2021, including Financial Crime Compliance Investigator and Customer Due Diligence Analyst. Kareem's career began at Wasla Outsourcing as a Customer Service Representative for the TEData project. Kareem holds degrees in Accounting and Finance from Beni-Suef University, where studies were completed between 2008 and 2012.
