Mahmoud Hazem Amer

Mahmoud Hazem Amer is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in credit and risk management. Currently serving as a Credit Committee Member at EFG Finance Holding since November 2024, Mahmoud has held various positions within EFG Holding since May 2021, including Credit & Risk Vice President, Associate Vice President, and Supervisor. Prior experience includes roles at Credit Agricole Egypt as a Relationship Manager and Assistant Relationship Manager, as well as a Junior Relationship Officer at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank. In addition, Mahmoud gained academic experience as a Teaching Assistant in Investment Analysis at The American University in Cairo and completed an analyst internship at BPE Partners. Mahmoud graduated with a degree in Finance and Economics from The American University in Cairo in 2017 and furthered education at UCLA in 2016.
