EFI Climate Fellow at EFI (Entrepreneurs for Impact)

Brad Hartwig serves as the CEO and Co-Founder of Arbor, a company focused on creating a sustainable world, since January 2022. Additionally, Brad is an EFI Climate Fellow with Entrepreneurs for Impact, which supports growth-stage leaders in climate technology and sustainability. Previous experience includes roles as a Flight Test Engineer and Test Pilot at Kitty Hawk, a Manufacturing Engineer for Crew Dragon Engines at SpaceX, and Chief Propulsion Engineer at the USC Rocket Propulsion Laboratory, where significant achievements included sending a rocket to space. Brad has also contributed as a project lead in the Sikorsky Human Powered Helicopter competition and gained early recognition as a National Team Swimmer with USA Swimming. Brad holds a Master’s degree in Energy, Civil Infrastructure, and Climate Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California.
