Raino Vastamäki

Raino Vastamäki has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Raino started their career at Aalto University School of Science and Technology as a Researcher from August 2000 to December 2004. Raino then joined Adage Oy, where they held the positions of Research Director from October 2001 to April 2017, and later became a Partner and Member of the Board from January 2002 to April 2017. In 2017, Raino joined Eficode as the UX Research Director. In 2019, they also became the COB, Chair of the Board of Directors, and Partner at Javasko Machines Oy. Raino has been a Partner and Member of the Board at Javasko Oy since December 1986.

Raino Vastamäki has a diverse education history. Raino obtained a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Helsinki, which they completed between the years 1992 and 2000. During this time, they focused on the field of Psychology.

Following their Master's degree, Raino pursued further education as a post-graduate student at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 2000 to 2002. During this period, they specialized in UX, Usability, and User Interfaces.

In addition to their formal academic education, Raino has obtained several certifications. Raino became a Certified Emergency First Aid Course practitioner in November 2021, after completing a course led by a healthcare professional qualified as a first aid trainer, Sanna Ahonen (SRN).

Raino also acquired the designation of CBM (Certified Board Member) / HHJ - Hyväksytty Hallituksen Jäsen from the Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce in December 2020. Additionally, Raino obtained the HHJ PJ - HHJ Puheenjohtajanimike title from the same institution in 2020.

In 2015, Raino participated in a Manuscript course offered by The Finnish Comic Society. Raino also holds the designation of Authorised Psychologist / Laillistettu psykologi, which was granted by the Sosiaali- ja terveysalan lupa- ja valvontavirasto Valvira in 2000.

Lastly, Raino is a member of The Interaction Design Foundation, holding a Membership Certificate from the organization.
