Hooi yang Chia

Hooi Yang Chia currently serves as the Characterization Manager at Efinix, Inc. since January 2023. Prior to this, Hooi held the role of PVE- HSSIO Electrical Validation Manager & Infrastructure Manager at Intel Corporation from April 2017 to January 2023, where responsibilities included ensuring the quality of electrical validation execution for high-speed FPGA products. Hooi's earlier experience includes working as a Senior/MTS Validation Engineer at Altera from December 2010 to November 2016, focusing on FPGA device characterization and validation for HSSI transceiver design. Additionally, roles as Senior R&D Electrical Engineer at Motorola Solutions (January 2008 - December 2010) involved designing RF circuits, and as Senior Product Engineer at Agilent Technologies (January 2001 - January 2008), responsibilities included providing engineering support to enhance the quality and reliability of various products.
