Yau Kok Lai

Yau Kok Lai has extensive experience in IC design engineering and architecture. Yau Kok started their career at Altera in 2006 as an Advanced IC Design Engineer, focusing on advanced IC design. Yau Kok then joined BaySand Inc in 2010 as a Sr. IC Design Engineer, working on various projects. In 2011, Yau Kok Lai moved back to Altera as a Sr. IC Design Engineer, specializing in IO sub-system design for external memory interfaces. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at BaySand Inc as a Sr. MTS IC Design Engineer, responsible for a wide range of tasks including embedded memory IP design, PLL design, and full-chip power estimation tool development. Since 2017, Yau Kok Lai has been with Efinix, Inc, initially as a Principal Engineer and currently as a Design Architect.

From 2001 to 2006, Yau Kok Lai attended Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
