Brenden Smith

Brenden Smith has over a decade of experience in information security, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and Director of Security at FirstBank since March 2013. In these roles, Brenden develops the strategy for information security, physical security, and vendor management. Prior to these positions, Brenden managed physical and information security strategies as the IT Manager - Security at FirstBank. Brenden began the professional journey as a Security Analyst at FirstBank from 2008 to 2012 and previously worked as a Lead Malware Analyst at Circuit City from 2005 to 2008. Brenden holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Computer Information Systems from the University of Northern Colorado, obtained in 2008.
