Richard Cook

Richard Cook currently serves as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Control Testing at Hiscox since July 2022. Prior to this role, Richard was a Principal Program Manager in AWS Security at Amazon Web Services for a brief period in March to July 2022. Richard also held significant positions in information security, including Head of Information Security at Co-op and Senior IT Security Manager at Nisa Retail. Other roles include IT Security Officer at The British Library and eSecurity Manager at YHGFL Foundation, among others. Richard's career began in the British Army as a Professional Musician, followed by management in family business and music education. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from The University of Sheffield.
