Robert Eastwood

Robert Eastwood serves as the Head of Security and Safety Operations at the English Football League since November 2013, providing expert advice on safety and security matters for EFL and its 72 member clubs. With a diverse background in governance, Robert has held positions including Governor at Cardinal Newman College and Board Trustee for Deafway. Additionally, Robert has experience as a Parliamentary Candidate for The Conservative Party and has served on various councils and boards, focusing on community well-being and education objectives. Formerly a Chief Superintendent with Lancashire Constabulary, Robert oversaw a substantial team and budget, implemented diversity initiatives, and led critical incident management. Robert holds a Bachelor of Laws degree with a focus on Law and Politics from Lancaster University and additional international law studies from the University of Limburg.
