Yannis Orfanos

Yannis Orfanos has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Yannis began their career as a Petty Officer in the Hellenic Navy, serving until 2009. Yannis then worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the National Technical University of Athens from 2009 to 2010. Following this, Yannis joined Pollalis Inc. as a Director of Urban Planning and Consulting from 2010 to 2013.

In 2014, Yannis started working at Harvard University as a Researcher in Urban Systems and Analytics, where they stayed until 2017. During this period, in 2016, they also took up an advisory role in Real Estate and Urban Development at MIT Sloan School of Management.

In 2017, they joined WeWork as a Director of Global Data & Insights and held this position until 2022. Currently, Yannis is the Senior Director of Last Mile Delivery at efood since 2023. With expertise in research, analytics, urban planning, and consulting, Yannis has developed a well-rounded professional background.

Yannis Orfanos holds a Data Science Professional Graduate Certificate from Harvard Extension School. Yannis also has a Master of Architecture (MArch) in Architecture & Urbanism from the Architectural Association, as well as a Diploma in Architectural Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. In addition, they have a certification in Envision™ Sustainability Professional Credential from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure.
