Chris Vervliet is a seasoned professional in risk management and finance, currently serving as a Senior Risk Manager at KBC Asset Management since May 2004. In March 2024, Chris became a member of the EFRAG Capital Market Advisory Panel, providing advice on sustainability reporting standards for financial institutions. Additionally, Chris is a member of the ESMA Stakeholder Group, representing the financial sector's labor interests. Since January 2019, Chris has held dual roles as Mayor of Boutersem, Belgium, and as a senior risk advisor with Boutersem and KBC AM.
