Jean Louchet is an associate professor at EFREI since 2006, specializing in image processing and conducting lectures on mathematical tools for computer vision, evolutionary computation, projective geometry, and photometry. With extensive experience as an independent harpsichord player and continuist since 1994, Jean co-founded "Les Resjouissances Baroques" in Paris and served as a keyboards/continuo player for "The Sorbonne Scholars." As a technical expert, Jean has provided insights on historical stringed keyboards and has held leadership roles in the "Piano Historique - Fan d'Erard" association. Additionally, Jean has authored scientific papers and a graduate textbook on image processing and artificial vision. Previous research roles at Ghent University, Hogeschool Gent, INRIA, and various prestigious institutions have centered on the application of evolutionary computation to image processing. Educational qualifications include a PhD and HDR in Mathematics and Computer Science, with foundational studies at ENSTA Paris and École Polytechnique.
