Knut Alexander Johnsen

Knut Alexander Johnsen is a Legal Officer in the Competition and State Aid unit at the EFTA Surveillance Authority since January 2023, focusing on competition law matters, including anticompetitive agreements and abuses of dominance. Prior to this role, Knut served as a Senior Lawyer, Senior Associate, and Associate at Wikborg Rein from August 2017 to December 2022. Knut also worked as a Law Clerk at Gulating Court of Appeal from August 2016 to August 2017, assisting with civil and criminal appeal decisions. Knut's experience includes an advisory position at Konkurransetilsynet from July 2011 to August 2016, working on antitrust, mergers, regulation, and telecoms. Academic qualifications include a Master in Law from the University of Bergen, an LLM in Competition Law from King's College London, and a Summer Law Program focused on trade and investment law at American University Washington College of Law.
