Yasser Alhammad has extensive work experience in legal affairs and corporate governance. Yasser started their career as a Trainee Lawyer at Alzmami Law Firm in 2008, where they gained experience in writing legal memorandums, assisting with contract drafting, and representing clients in court.

Yasser then worked as a Legal Counsel at Al Rajhi Bank from 2010 to 2017, managing and working on over 250 cases related to banking, capital markets, and negotiable instruments.

From 2017 to 2018, Yasser served as a Legal Counsel at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, where they were a member of the Technical Committee for the provision of Legal Professional Services and provided legal opinions and advice.

In 2018, Yasser joined Rashed Al-Ghonaim Law Firm as an Attorney and Senior Legal Advisor, representing major banks and real estate companies in complex cases and providing legal opinions and advice.

In 2020, Yasser became the Head of Legal Department at Al Rajhi Capital, where they managed and led the Legal department and was responsible for contract drafting, negotiation, and providing legal advice to other departments.

Currently, Yasser holds the position of Vice President of Legal Affairs & Corporate Governance at Takamol Holding since 2021, where their role includes managing and leading the Legal Department & Corporate Governance, providing legal services to affiliates, and serving as a member of the Executive team and Audit Committee in Takamol Company for Business Solutions.

Starting in 2023, Yasser will also be a Member of the Discipline and Ethics Committee in the Saudi Arabian Football Federation and a Member of the Audit Committee in Takamol Company for Business Solutions.

Yasser Alhammad completed their LLB degree in Law at King Saud University from 2001 to 2005. Yasser then pursued further education at Southern Methodist University from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained their LLM degree in International and Comparative Law. In 2009, they completed their LLM degree at Stetson University College of Law specializing in International and Comparative Law. Additionally, they attended the University of Delaware from 2006 to 2007 to study English as a second language. Yasser Alhammad has also obtained several additional certifications, including a High Performance Leadership Program from IMD in 2022 and a General Securities Qualification Certificate (CME-1) from the Capital Market Authority in 2019. Yasser is also a licensed attorney since 2013, certified by the Ministry of Justice in KSA.
