Senior Vice President - Services, Support, And Operations at eGain

JC Rao has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. JC began their career in 1989 as a Senior Research Engineer at Engg. Mechanics Research Corporation. JC then went on to work as a Senior Software Engineer at Intergraph Corporation, where they played a key role in designing and developing 3D CAD modeling software components.

In 1997, they joined Silicon Graphics Inc as a Member Technical Staff. Here, they developed ActiveX plug-ins for a Virtual Reality content authoring application and coordinated internationalization and localization efforts for the same.

In 1998, JC Rao joined TIBCO Finance Technology, Inc. as a Member Technical Staff, where they developed server-side Java components and multi-threaded .NET components for a multi-tier J2EE application for financial services.

Their next role was at eGain Corporation, where they held various positions of increasing responsibility. JC served as a Senior Vice President - Services, Support, and Operations, responsible for client engagements throughout the enterprise customer lifecycle. JC also served as a Senior Vice President - Customer Success, focusing on increasing adoption, renewals, expansion, and customer advocacy. Prior to that, JC Rao served as a Vice President - Professional Services & Customer Support, leading the implementation of eGain's SaaS solutions and managing a global team.

Before eGain Corporation, JC Rao held the position of Vice President - Customer Support & Cloud Operations, responsible for providing technical support and cloud operations for SaaS-based customer engagement products.

Earlier in their career, JC Rao held various management roles, including Senior Director of Products & Technologies and Director of Software Engineering, where they led the design and development of J2EE and .NET based enterprise software solutions.

Throughout their career, JC Rao has demonstrated expertise in software development, product strategy, customer success, and technical leadership.

JC Rao completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from 1980 to 1985. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin between 1985 and 1987. Later, from 1987 to 1988, they attended The Ohio State University as part of the Ph.D. program in Mechanical Engineering.
