Joe Valencia has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Joe started their career as an Industrial Engineer at Kawneer Company, Inc. in 1998. Joe then moved on to work as an Industrial Engineer at Raywal Cabinets before joining Global Office Furniture Solutions Ltd. as a Plant Engineer in 1999. In 2001, Joe became a Manufacturing Engineer at Knoll, where they were responsible for implementing innovative process plans to boost productivity and reduce costs. Joe later took on the role of Operations Manager at Knoll, overseeing four departments and leading process improvement initiatives. In 2015, Joe joined General Electric Canada Company Inc. as an Operations Manager, where they were responsible for leading a $56M business operation and delivering quarterly financial targets. Since 2016, Joe has been working at Egan Visual, initially as a Continuous Improvement Manager and later as the VP of Engineering. Currently, they serve as the VP of Strategy and Operations at Egan Visual, where they manage strategic initiatives and drives project management and execution across the organization.
Joe Valencia obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University from 1994 to 1998. Joe also completed additional certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training from EZSigma Group in 2018 and a Master's Certificate in Project Management from Ontario Tech University in 2015.
