Kristen Getchell

Kristen Getchell is a Scientist II at eGenesis, Inc., leading the Kidney Expanded Access team in partnership with Massachusetts General Hospital, achieving a milestone in xenotransplantation with the first genetically-edited pig kidney transplanted into a living recipient. With a strong background in translational sciences, Kristen has contributed to various projects including biomarker discovery for xeno-organ rejection and cell-free DNA assays. Previous experience includes roles at Unum Therapeutics, Syros Pharmaceuticals, and Momenta Pharmaceuticals, focusing on assay development, data analysis, and immuno-oncology research. Kristen holds a Master of Liberal Arts in Biotechnology from Harvard Extension School and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire.
