Yoni Polakowsky has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Yoni is currently serving as the Chief data officer (CDO) at Egged Israel Transport Cooperative Society Ltd since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked at yes from September 2011 to January 2020, where they held multiple roles including Head of BI system analyst and front bi teams, Head of BI system analysis team, and Senior BI Systems Analyst-Project Manager. Yoni was responsible for managing complicated projects, providing business and technical design, and working with BI tools. Before joining yes, Yoni worked as a BI Project Manager at GlassHouse Technologies in 2011. Yoni also worked at The Israeli Phoenix insurance company as a BI TEAM LEADER and BI developer & project manager from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, Yoni has experience as a BI Developer at Opisoft in 2007. Yoni began their career at Pelephone in 1999, where they held various roles including Data analysis team manager, Data Analyst & front-end developer, and Technical Service Representative.
Yoni Polakowsky obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Business Strategy from The Open University of Israel from 2007 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from The Open University of Israel from 2001 to 2007. In addition to their academic achievements, Yoni Polakowsky also completed a jazz guitar program at Rimon music school from 1998 to 2000. Yoni holds several certifications, including Certificate of Completion in JavaScript Fundamentals, CSS Fundamentals, PHP Course, Python Course, and HTML Fundamentals from SoloLearn, obtained in 2016.
