Thomas Carrassi has worked for several companies in the engineering and technology fields. Thomas started their career with Techres Lab as a master thesis student, where they developed a device for lung function testing using ESP32 firmware and Electron Js desktop application. Thomas then joined BlueThink as a Junior Technologist and Bellco (now part of Medtronic) as an R&D Hardware Engineer, where they designed and tested hardware for dialysis machines. Thomas'smost recent position is with Eggtronic as an IC HW&FW Engineer, which they started in June 2023.
Thomas Carrassi studied Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in 2019 and a Master's degree from 2019-2022. In 2020, they also briefly attended Instituto Superior Técnico for a Master's degree in the same field. Additionally, they obtained several certifications during their time at Politecnico di Milano, including Destinazione Impresa, FPGA Academy, Career Service Award, and Model Based Design per Sistemi Elettrici.
