Alan Oppenheim

Alan Oppenheim has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, serving as Managing Director and Scientific Director at Ego Pharmaceuticals since 1980, and as a Non-Executive Director at Consumer Healthcare Products Australia since 2011. Oppenheim was a Director at the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists from 1990 to 1998 and served as President of the IFSCC in 1996-1997, where Oppenheim played a key role in launching the first IFSCC magazine for its global membership. Oppenheim holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Chemistry from Monash University, completed between 1976 and 1979, and attended Brighton Grammar School from 1970 to 1975.
