Marketing Director, Corporate Marketing at Egress

Rebecca has over 10 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on the technology sector. Rebecca started their career as a Communications Officer for a small software company before moving into corporate communications at Egress Software Technologies, where they eventually became the Global Corporate Communications Manager. In this role, Rebecca was responsible for developing and implementing the company's global marketing and communications strategy, managing the communications budget, and overseeing corporate marketing events. Rebecca also had people management responsibility for the corporate communications team.

In October 2019, Rebecca became the Marketing Director for Corporate Marketing at Egress, where they are responsible for developing global marketing and communications strategy with the CMO and VP of Corporate Marketing, and working with colleagues in digital and regionalised field marketing to ensure effective implementation. Rebecca is also the global lead on messaging, content marketing strategy, and PR.

Some of Rebecca's key achievements include supporting the achievement of new and add-on sales pipeline growth (40% Y-o-Y growth to date in 2019), developing and implementing an effective corporate marketing and communications strategy (2019/20), and managing global PR programmes in the UK, North America and Benelux. Rebecca has also been instrumental in developing and implementing a successful content marketing strategy to support pipeline generation, as well as supporting the localisation of the corporate marketing plan in EMEA and North America.

Rebecca Bailey has a Bachelor of Arts in English and Related Literature from the University of York. Rebecca also has an A Level in English Literature, Theirtory, and Biology from Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College. In addition, they have a GCSE in 4 A*, 5 A, 2 B from Endon High School. Rebecca is also certified in Digital Strategy, Diploma in Professional Marketing, Award in Mastering Metrics, Award in Strategic Marketing, Fire Safety for Fire Wardens Training, and Introduction to Public Relations from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing and The Institution of Fire Engineers / CFPA Europe.
