Ahmed Dawoud is the Head of the Data Analytics Unit at The Egyptian Center for Economic Studies (ECES), where innovative economic research and advanced data analytics initiatives are spearheaded to inform evidence-based policy formulation in Egypt, particularly in the areas of labor market dynamics and trade reform. Previous roles include serving as an Economist and Research Analyst at ECES, where comprehensive economic research and data analysis were conducted. Ahmed also works as a Notebook Expert at Kaggle, focusing on data collection, cleaning, and analysis. Prior experience includes being an Economic Editor at Eda2at, where over 50 reports were authored to communicate the economic situation in Egypt and the MENA region in an accessible manner. Ahmed holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Statistics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences at Cairo University.
