Evelyn Castle has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. Evelyn is the CEO and Co-Founder of eha Impact Ventures, an impact investing enterprise that supports female-owned SMEs in Africa. Prior to that, Evelyn served as the Chairperson of the Board and Co-Founder of eHealth Africa, where they grew the organization from zero to a revenue of $262 million over 10 years. Evelyn also served as the Executive Director and Co-Founder, leading a team of over 1200 employees in 4 countries. Additionally, Evelyn is the Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder of EHA Clinics, a primary health start-up. Evelyn is recognized as a public speaker, having presented on topics related to digital surveillance tools and global health epidemics at international events.

Evelyn Castle earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz, completing their education between 2007 and 2010. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in various fields. In October 2016, they received a certification in "Building a Sustainable Future - Financial Tools and Techniques" from Humentum. In July 2019, Evelyn obtained the certification "I am Dare to Lead Trained" from the Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator. Furthermore, in September 2019, they completed the "Global Executive Training in Integrated Care" from the Center for Healthcare Management. Evelyn also completed a course on "Impact Investing In Africa" from the University of Cape Town in October 2020. In March 2022, they obtained the "Company Direction Course I" certification from the Institute of Directors, Nigeria (IOD Nigeria), followed by a "Certificate of Nonprofit Board Education" from BoardSource in October 2022. Evelyn'smost recent certifications include the "Impact Leadership Programme" from the African Venture Philanthropy Alliance in December 2022 and the "VC4A Mentor-Driven Capital Programme" from VC4A in April 2023.
