Rukayat Yunusa

Rukayat Yunusa has a diverse range of work experience in the pharmaceutical field. Rukayat started their career as a Community Pharmacist at Zinom Pharma Ltd in September 2015. Rukayat then worked as a Pharmacy Intern at Federal teaching hospital, Gombe from August 2015 to August 2016.

In December 2016, Rukayat joined the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital as a Hospital Pharmacist. Rukayat'sresponsibilities included consulting with physicians and patients on medication dosage and interactions, dispensing and compounding prescriptions, and providing medication use counseling to HIV/AIDS patients. Rukayat stayed in this role until November 2017.

From November 2017 to August 2018, Rukayat worked as a Pharmacist at Dialogue Pharmacy. Rukayat had responsibilities such as inventory management, providing drug information services, drug dispensing, and preparing extemporaneous medicines.

In 2020, Rukayat participated in courses such as "Introduction Course to Procurement and Supply Chain Management PART TWO" from UNDP and received certificates of participation in "Covid-19 Basics and Effect on Pharmacy Practice" and "Treating Bacterial Vaginosis" from PTCE. Additionally, they completed courses like "QuanTB" and "Using New TB Medicines and Regimens" from Management Sciences for Health and "Introduction to Procurement and Supply Chain Management of Pharmaceutical Products" from UNDP.
